In a London psychiatric hospital, an enigmatic patient claims to be the son of an African dictator-a story that becomes unnervingly plausible. BLUE/ORANGE is an incendiary tale of race, madness and a Darwinian power struggle at the heart of a dying National Health Service.
In Blue/Orange this question is asked over and over with some real and, on occasion, frightening consequences. Not just for the patient, a black man from West London, but also for the two doctors trying to treat him. In the medical world, everyone is merely trying to what’s best for their patient, but in the circumstances where even the symptoms themselves are up for debate, can anyone who claims to be right, ever really know that they’re right?
