Here is the casting call for our November Production: Play On ! A comedy by Rick Abbot.
Dates of performances: 22, 23, 24 November at 8pm, 25 November at 5pm
When a plucky community theatre is given the opportunity to produce a royalty free show, they jump at the chance. Little did they know, a maddening interference from the authoress would spin them into a tale of “anything that can go wrong will go wrong.” The show is hilariously amateur, the “murder mystery” plot doesn’t really have a murder, and to top it off the playwright keeps changing the story and script only two days from its premiere! It doesn’t help that the cast is disgruntled, and the playwright accidentally deletes the entire sound effect board. All of the disasters come to fruition in Act III when the company performs the actual show with hilarious mishaps at every turn.

AGGIE MANVILLE – a stage manager and prompter (Age: 25-60)

*Note: There is some wiggle room with the ages. There are a couple of roles that allow for gender reassignment (Gerry, Louise and Aggie). We will look at that at auditions, if necessary or desired. The play-within-the play takes place in England so be prepared for some playing around with accents for the characters in Murder Most Foul.
